Visa & Entry
Switzerland typically requires visa-on-arrival or e-visa for Indian passport holders (₹2,000-3,500 fee). Nepal similar or even visa-free in some cases. Check our /visa pages for the latest rules.
Best Time to Visit
Switzerland: October to March is ideal. Pleasant weather, low rainfall, good prices.
Nepal: November to April typically best.
Indian holiday seasons (Diwali, Christmas, summer breaks) drive up prices 30-50% on both.
Indian Food Availability
Both destinations have growing Indian restaurant scenes. Switzerland typically has more options because of larger Indian tourist footfall. Veg/Jain travelers should research specific neighborhoods.
